The “Pilot Scheme for Community Care Service Vouchers for the Elderly” is a new service introduced by the Social Welfare Department in September 2013. Eligible elderly people will receive monthly government subsidy from service vouchers, allowing them to freely and flexibly choose service providers, service types and service combinations according to their individual needs. The SWD will invite eligible participants, elderly who are assessed as moderately impaired by the unified assessment mechanism of the Elderly Services of the Economic and Social Services Department and are on the central waiting list of long-term care services for subsidized community care services and/or residential care services. Must be living in the community without receiving any form of residential care services or subsidized community care services. The Centre Provide diversified professional day training and care services for the elderly.
