Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Lo Wong Yuk Man Day Care Centre, being part of a contract home for the elderly of which the operation was obtained through successful bidding and also third of its kind under the auspice of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, commenced its operation in November 2014. To honour our donor Mr. Benson, the centre is named after his mother as “Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Lo Wong Yuk Man Day Care Centre”.
To provide a range of centre-based care and support services during daytime to enable the frail and demented elders suffering from moderate or severe level of impairment to maintain their optimal level of functioning, develop their potential, improve their quality of life and to enable them to live in their own homes wherever feasible and possible.
