Caritas Hong Kong Elderly Service founded in 1979.
Carry out a series of services to meet the needs of the elderly and carers. Services include elderly care centers, elderly community centers, day care centers, nursing and attention homes, integrated home care services, home improvement and community care services, spa services, daily necessities shop for the elderly, Ning’an services, nursing homes, and integrated day service centers for the elderly and carers service support network.
This center is a service unit approved by the Social Welfare Department for the “Elderly Community Care Voucher Pilot Scheme” (Phase 2). It also provides non-subsidized day care services and rehabilitation services. The care vouchers are provided in five service combinations, with flexible choices to cater to the care needs of the elderly and carers, so that the elderly can receive comprehensive health, emotional and social care, and also relieve the carers’ pressure on caring. The center consists of a multi-professional and support team to provide the elderly with appropriate body care, cognitive therapy training, rehabilitation exercises and diversified social and recreational activities. The center is equipped with excellent equipment, equipped with reclining chairs, ultrasonic electrotherapy, suspended walking machine, gear box, passive joint exercise equipment, etc., which can help improve the elderly’s pain, walking ability, muscle endurance, and joint mobility. The center also has a fleet to transport the elderly to and from the day center. The center team takes professional and caring care and love to serve so that the elderly can continue to enjoy their old age in the community in a healthy and safe manner.
