The Caritas Jockey Club Comprehensive Day Service Center for the Elderly is attached to the Caritas Rixiao and Care and Attention Home for the Elderly. The service was officially launched in December 2010. It provides one-stop care services in a professional team, group cooperation and self-financing mode, including daytime temporary care and rehabilitation training. In 2013, the Center began to accept community care service vouchers to receive day services and rehabilitation treatment services. Service users of care vouchers can also enjoy two free professional treatment sessions per month, allowing more elderly people in need to receive day services They can stay in a familiar community with peace of mind, and implement the goal of “ageing at home and enjoying the elderly”, so that the carers can continue to work or rest. The Day Center provides a one-stop service with the support of residential homes. Service users can apply for non-subsidized places in the residential homes when necessary to relieve the caregiver pressure of carers. In order to improve the management of the Center and optimize the environment, in May 2017, it participated in and successfully passed the certification of the Five Permanent Law Association to improve the quality of the Center in the five aspects of “safety”, “hygiene”, “quality”, “efficiency” and “image”.
