The hospital started in 1982 to provide social services to the elderly in Hong Kong. In the past 30 years, a number of homes and centers for the elderly have been completed and put into service. The hospital currently has 25 elderly service units, providing various services to approximately 8,400 members, including entertainment and recreation, community education and participation, interest learning, personal hygiene, medical care, meals and accommodation, and tailor-made services for the elderly in need Customized door-to-door services, so that the frail elderly can continue to enjoy their old age at home according to their wishes and enable the carers to receive support.
